Schnibbel in German means thinly sliced little bits and pieces of something, in this case gherkins. The gherkins are thinly sliced and pickled with sliced onions, vinegar, and spices.
Yes the dill gherkins and the dill slices contain no sugar and are safe for diabetics.
Our sauerkraut is made from cabbage and salt only. It goes through a natural fermentation process. We briefly sterilise the air cavity between the product and the lid of the bottle to ensure a vacuum which prolongs shelf life.
